Well North Chairman Lord Andrew Mawson was among the keynote speakers at the annual Festival of Public Health, held in Manchester on 1^st July 2016.

Hosted by The University of Manchester, the one-day event highlighted the latest research on public health issues from across the world. Other speakers included international health expert Professor Sir Michael Marmot and Professor Sir Bruce Keogh, Medical Director of NHS England.

There was also a special memorial tribute to the founder of Well North, the late Professor Aidan Halligan, by Professor Ian Jacobs, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of New South Wales.
