Evaluation Team

I’m part of the Well North evaluation team which will work alongside Sheffield and Rotherham. These pathfinders have an emphasis on population health and hopefully my knowledge in this area can help assist the project.

I’m a geneticist at The University of Manchester with an interest in cognitive decline/dementia in the elderly. My most recent work in this area is an investigation of air pollution and its influence on the rate of cognitive decline/dementia using DNA and donated brains stored at The University of Manchester. In addition, I also research the genetics of cancer and more recently autism.
