The Social Prescribing Network - this consists of health professionals, researchers, academics, social prescribing practitioners, representatives from the community and voluntary sector, commissioners and funders, patients and citizens. They are working together to share knowledge and best practice, to support social prescribing at a local and national levels and to inform good quality research and evaluation.


Creative Health: The Arts for Health and Wellbeing - a report produced by the All Party Parliamentary Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing. The Group led an inquiry from 2015-2016 into the practice and research of arts and health and social care. The aim was to bring research and knowledge together into a series of recommendations to support embedding the arts in health with the policy and practice sector.


'Unlocking Social Prescribing', 28th September 2017 - the Bromley by Bow Centre is holding this seminar at the Centre in East London from 10.00am to 4.30pm. Speakers include Dr. Sir Sam Everington, chair of NHS Tower Hamlets CCG and GP in Tower Hamlets since 1989, social prescribing project staff and directors of the centre. There will be a tour of the centre to see social prescribing in action, plus opportunities during the day to discuss individual opportunities, challenges and questions.
