Well North Evaluation Lead
I’m director of the Centre for Epidemiology and the Manchester Urban Collaboration on Health (MUCH), and a Senior Lecturer in Public Health at The University of Manchester. MUCH performs high quality research, teaching and training in the field of public health and has established links to local, national and international public health organisations.
Currently I’m the Programme Director for post-graduate courses aimed at health professionals interested in a career in public health or seeking new skills in this area. I’m also the teaching lead for the Manchester Academic Health Science Centre (MAHSC) global health programme and a board member of cities@manchester.
Principle investigator (PI) on a number of UK and European health research projects, I’m president of the European Public Health Association section on Urban Health. I run training events for public health professionals , and hold honorary consultant posts at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and Public Health England.
At Well North, I lead the evaluation team for the programme.
