Lydia Connolly
Communications Lead, Well Sefton
After graduating from the University of Liverpool with a degree in English, I began my work in public relations, marketing and communications.
I started my career at a marketing agency where I worked with a range of clients across both the private and public sectors with a particular focus on property and education. During this time I also worked as a freelance journalist for leading North West publications.
Fairly new to Sefton Council as a senior communications officer, I am diving head first into my role as communications lead for health and wellbeing where I will be working to promote all things public health and leisure.
At Well North I will be leading the communications arm of Well Sefton, looking after local promotion, press, social media and most importantly helping to celebrate the amazing projects and schemes happening in Bootle.
Outside of work I love to travel and see the world. In summer 2017 I made a once in a lifetime trip to Japan and I’m already planning my next holiday to Australia next year.
