A senior business development professional and chairman of a 330-company strong Cumbrian business group, my experience covers a wide range of sectors including defence, nuclear, oil & gas and renewable energy. My skills include strategy development, marketing, business winning and socio-economic delivery with a focus on building relationships.

At Well Whitehaven, my role is to mobilise the efforts of the local business community to engage on and support our ambition to nurture a confident and enterprising generation of young people in our region.

I’m very fortunate to have worked and travelled around the world and have benefited from inspirational adults who took the time to mentor and help me build my aspirations for my career and life. On a volunteer basis, I am a trustee of a local youth project and have a passion for the engagement and development of young people from less advantaged backgrounds.
