Cardy Camara

Well North Project Administrator

A highly skilled administrator with experience of working in the public and private sector, I enjoyed a 25 year career in the Civil Service working in a number of government departments overseeing the successful delivery of a variety of Government programmes and policies, targeted at the most deprived members of communities and those designated as hard to reach across the North West of England.

Before joining the University of Manchester I was a Customer Relationship manager for Balfour Beatty Capital, and I have twice been a charitable trustee.

In The University of Manchester I have worked as a PA for a number of senior staff and academics in the Division of Population Health, Health Services Research and Primary Care and as an administrator in the International Office, which plans and implements recruitment activities overseas.

At Well North, my role is to provide project administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the project, together with the rest of the Hub team and Pathfinders.

I enjoy feeling that I am making a difference in the work that I do. I am a qualified Mindfulness Practitioner and Job Coach. I love following cycle racing, Manchester United and athletics and enjoy running, dancing and music. I’m passionate about my family, friends and my lovely Staffordshire bull terrier Boomer.
