Community Development Manager, Halton Borough Council

After working in the social housing sector, particularly tenant participation and regeneration initiatives, I moved to a local authority as a community development manager. Over the last 15 years I’ve supported both grass roots and strategic approaches to community engagement.

I provide support for delivering Well Halton on behalf of the local authority and clinical commissioning group. This includes liaising with all stakeholders to support the project delivery, and ensuring Halton’s community is at the core of the initiative.

I’m passionate about fairness, opportunity and longevity in my work. Building strong resilient communities requires positive relationships, which take time to nurture but can be damaged swiftly if we let our communities down.

As a local resident raising a family, the future shape of Halton and what it will offer my children is paramount to me. I have a busy family life with three children and outside of work/family my other interest is live music.
