Davina Hanlon
Public Health Consultant
I joined the public health team at Sefton Council in November 2015, and lead work across a variety of areas including the Council’s health protection duty and the wider factors affecting health. Prior to this I had similar public health leadership roles, mainly within Primary Care Trusts across the North West. I also have experience in the supported housing and regeneration sector.
My role is to chair the Well Sefton Programme Steering Group, which has overarching responsibility for co-ordinating and managing the local programme.
I’m passionate about people having the same opportunities in their lives to live well and reach their full potential, whatever that may be to them. Outside work, I support the aims of Healthwatch Lancashire as a Non-Executive Director, to encourage good health and social care services for all citizens.
