Susannah James
Well North Administrator
Prior to Well North I was employed by the University of Manchester coordinating a clinical trial of an App. which provides Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to people who have experienced a first episode of psychosis. Before this, in my former life, I worked offshore in the oil and gas industry managing drilling projects. I have also been involved in brain imaging research, having completed my MSc in Clinical Neuroscience in 2009 but the underlying theme of my career to date has been in organising projects albeit of differing types.
At Well North, my role is to ensure the smooth running of the project together with the rest of the hub team and pathfinders. Additionally I provide support to the leadership team and act as one of the first points of contact for information about the programme.
Professionally I am passionate about translational research - putting scientific discoveries into practice - that creates real world benefits for people. Personally I love spending time with my partner and daughter exploring the great outdoors.
