As the Clinical Programme Manager – Childhood Obesity and Paediatric Dietitian at Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT), I lead on the ‘Reducing Childhood Obesity in Manchester’ programme. Its main aim is to help parents understand and take responsibility for the healthy growth and development of their children.

My role involves implementing, co-ordinating, monitoring and evaluating the programme, which unites colleagues from the public, private and voluntary sectors.

I act as an ambassador for Well North, and help to build on the understanding that childhood obesity is both a cause and consequence of complex family situations.

I’m passionate about quality. At Well North, this means quality of care, relationships and professionalism. My commitment to quality also extends to the workmanship in handbags!
